To facilitate patient journey in dispensing their medications:
1. Provide golf car or electrical wheel chairs between ER & pharmacy.
2. If possible to provide a drive-thru service from the main pharmacy.
3. Virtual consultation for medication refill (re-order prescription).
4. Home delivery offered if the patient doesn’t want to wait in the pharmacy. Especially for the chronic patients with huge list of medications. Should be delivered within 24-48hours.
5. Regular monitoring of waiting time in the pharmacy & between medication order and dispense.
6. Number of pharmacist should be proportional to the patients load.
